Need help in searching 1840's settlements and bonds and probate in Jackson Co.

Is anyone able to tell me if it is possible to search 1840's Jackson Co. records from a distance? I need to know some information that would be contained in these records sometime in the 1840's. I live far away or would go to the courthouse and find out the information. Any direction will be greatly appreciated. The family name I'm searching is Hutton.

Thank you,
Tammy Queen
