John Guinn from Trion, Ga Dec'd a long time ago says Elious/Elisha/Wm. dad was John Guinn b. about 1800 and his dad was John Talley Guinn born 1700's.Everyone says Elious's wife was supposed to be a shyrock but some say Celia Melissa Scott.I found one John Guinn who was md to Emily L. Shryock in Carter Co., TN Marr Rec. 1790-1870.He would have been born about 1800 when Mr Guinn said their parents were born.I wonder if he died and Champion is just an uncle or grandpa to our gggrandfathers.
The witness to this marriage was Daniel Guinn. What do you think??
