Confederate Private / Private Corpl. Gantt’s Company
Appears on a CMR April 5 to June 25 1863. Enlisted April 2 1862
Andalusia AL. Hiram Gantt for 90 days Transferred Company
Appears on CMR of payment to discharged Soldiers, May 10 1862. Date of Payment June 24 1862 by J W Holt
I certify that the within named Membrance E Hilton of Capt. Gantt Co. and Col Bryd’s Regiment of Was born in Henry in the state of Alabama aged…..5’ 11” Tall of Fair complexion: blue eyes: dark Hair and a farmer by occupation. Enlisted by Capt. Hiram Gantt at Andalusia Covington Co. The 2nd day of April 1862 to serve 90 days is now entitled to a discharge. The Said Membrance E Hilton has been paid. Paid him 19.08 signed Membrance E Hilton
