Seeking information on Reddick Parker born in ?Barnwell County, SC and died in Joaquin, Shelby Count,y TX in 1864. Reddick married Susan Jane Odom on 1845 in Abbeville, Henry County, AL and applied for a land patent in that county on 12/1/1851. A Henry Parker also applied on that same day for land in the same area and I an wondering if there is a connection. Children of Reddick and Susan were Augustus L. (Gus) Parker b. 1/16/1851, Mary (Mollie). L. (1846)m. Walter H. Billingsley , William C. (1848) m. Martha Billingsley , Abner Lafayette (1858) m. Artmedella Hickey, and J.L. (male- 1870). Gus married Ella Florence Russell 11/16/1875 in Logansport, LA. Their children:Magee B. (1876), William Claude(1877), Pearl (Gussie) (1879), Mollie (1884),and May (1888). Gus died 12/5/1926 in Logansport, LA and is buried in the Old Logansport LA Cemetery. Would like any additional informtion on this Parker family and any connection Henry Parker might have.
