Gary,

My husband's Great Grandfather was Walter Delaware Thomas. Walter Delaware was born in 1870 and died 1905. He is buried in the Cottonwood, Houston County, Alabama City Cemetery. Walter Delaware married Mary Melviny Peacock. (Houston County was formed in 1903 from Henry County as well as parts of Dale and Geneva Counties). We do not know who Walter Delaware's siblings were, nor do we know where he came from to Henry County, NOR where he and Mary Melviny were married. Have you run across these names in your Thomas research?

I live in Henry County, what information are you looking for...perhaps I can help.

Gayle Gamble Thomas
