Mrs. Marshall's book of cemetaries of Greene
county which includes Hale has several Wedgworths;
one is a James Wedgworth born
in Pennsylvania October 31, 1771 and died
September 1843.
The book says the cemetary is at New Prospect
near Cook's store in Hale county;
founded in 1824 the first tomb was that of
John Wedgworth who died Sept. 11, 1824 at
age 35. Esther Wedgeworth's has the date of
Sepember 11, 1832. There is also info on
a Dr. Middleton Wedgworth.
