James Hill & Minerva Payne are in my husband's tree. The info I have was copied from another tree and I haven't verified much with actual source information, but here's what I have:

Minerva was born about 1840 in Perry Co., AL to Hiram F. Payne & Mariah Wells Blackburn. There were 8 children.

I have a lot of info on the Paynes, but as I said, I haven't personally verified the information, so some of it may be innacurate. Let me know if you'd like the rest of the research I have.
