Am seeking information concerning Jincy P. Glenn, born in 1776 in Virginia, who was listed in the 1850 census of Greene County, Alabama. He purchased the land of my 3rd great grandmother, Elizabeth Brown Thompson, after her death, from her son, John Brown Thompson. On the site, he built the historic home "Glenville" that stands today in Eutaw, Greene County, Alabama. I am curious to know if there is a family connection to the Thompsons.
Was he connected to Simeon P. Glenn in Hale County?
Any information would be appreciated.
