Peter Williams died in 1849 in Greene Co. AL. It is thought that he was from North Carolina. He married Aurie Wilson on September 24, 1829 in Greene Co. AL. She was the daughter of William Wilson and Jane Griffin. They had the following children, all born in Greene Co. AL.:
1) Peter Williams
2) Sarah Williams, (1831-1925) m. 1) Edwin T. Martin (my line) and 2) Jesse Lawrence.
3) Samuel W. Williams born 1834
4) Elizabeth Jane Martin (1835-1932) m. Marshal Martin, brother of Edwin T. Martin.
5) Rebecca Williams (1838-1922) m. Asberry B. Lawrence.
6) John A. Williams
