Looking for information on Jack J. Coleman. Born 1920 in Geneva co. Enlisted on 25 Nov 1940 as a private. He was KIA on 24 April 1945 when the tank he was in hit a land mine. All the crew were killed. He served in Co B of the 821st Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was the son Malcolm and Myrtie Coleman and they brought him home in 1948 to rest in the Thurston Cemetery. Looking for someone to search the local newspaper to see if there was any coverage of this. Also looking for the location of the cemetery.
