Looking for any info on my ggg grandfather Parker's parents/siblings or Geneva/Coffee Co. history in 1840's-1870's. My research is as follows: Alfred Parker b. abt. 1805 in NC m. Mary Elizabeth (Chestnut?) b. in GA his d. after 1860 census in Geneva Co., AL. Their children born between 1837 & 1857. The oldest, John, born in Georgia. The others born in AL. Richard P., Quilly, Elizabeth, Jane, Jesse, George, Sintha, Alfred Council (my ancestor b. 7/17/1855 in Coffee Co.), and Mary. Alfred Council m. Georgian Ann Cain b. 1855 in Coffee Co. Their children, L.L., Halver Victor, William Robert (m.Ava Lou Prescott (Prescoat), Alfred, Ida, Susan (m. General Columbus Prescott (Prescoat), James M., Neury, Monroe, Fanny, John Edward, Ralph, Abner Richard & Della all born in Geneva County bet. 1875 & 1901. I welcome any potential leads as I'm tired of hitting that big brick wall & want to do the little genealogy dance instead. Thanks for taking time to read this message.
