I have a photo of my (deceased) uncle and his friend, “a nice guy”, Jack D. Dean of Hartford, Alabama. It was taken on August 25, 1946 in New York.

I would like to send Jack a copy, if he is still alive or to his family, if he is not.

[I thought it was a funny coincidence. None of my family are from lower Alabama, but some of my son-in-law’s family reside in Geneva County.]

There is only one Jack and no young Johns on the 1930 Geneva County, Alabama census (enumerated April 10).
William F. King 69 head (living in Dundee)
Langinia King 59 wife
Juluis H. King 29 son
Annie Pearl Dean 33 daughter
Cyde Dean 9 grandson
James Dean 6 grandson
Carolyn Dean 4 5/12 granddaughter
Jack Dean 2 8/12 grandson

Please contact me at, if you know this family.
