The only way they could be first cousins is if Ben and Deloney were brothers but they aren't. I had heard that they were 1st cousins also but it just doesn't fit.I have never heard of Deloney being a brother to Willie Ann, Jinnie, Ben, Henry Carter or Melissa Harrison. The only way I can figure it out is that their fathers are brothers which would make them 2nd cousins.I have yet to find Allen and Mary Ann in any census records.I just don't know where to look.Have you found Deloney anywhere???
My line is :
Jennifer Baxter (me)m. Roy D. Cazier
James Earl Baxter m. Amy James Jacobs
Ernest Earl Baxter m. Lillie Gertrude Evans
Green Berry Baxter m. Mytrle Thelma Mooneyham
Richard T. Baxter m. Euginia "Jinnie" Harrison
Allen Harrison m. Mary Ann Tucker 13 Aug 1863 in Jackson County Florida
Lillie Gertude Evans m. Ernest Earl Baxter
James Travis Evans m. Mattie Pynes
William Ealy Evans m. Willie Ann "Wog" Harrison
My Grandparents are 2nd cousins.
I would really like to find out how all this fits together. Please let me know anything you find and I will do the same for you. What is your email address?
Interesting about the red hair since I have a red headed son!
Thanks,
Jen
