Obit: Roger Wesley Waldrep
Roger Wesley Waldrep, 75, of Red Bay, Ala., died March 25, 1994 at the Red Bay Hospital. He was a retired merchant, having owned and operated Waldrep Furniture Co., in Red Bay for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of First United Methodist Church. Funeral services were March 26 at Red Bay First United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home had charge.
Survivors included his wife, Celia Waldrep of Red Bay; two daughters, Celia Frances Spinner of Knoxville, Tenn., and Margaret Deborah Rumberger of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, R. V. Waldrep of McComb, Ill., Eugene E. Waldrep and Floyd S. Waldrep, both of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two sisters, Eula Matthews of Austin, Texas and Gladys Finch of Red Bay; two grandchildren.
