G.W. or Henry Wilburn

Looking for information about G.W. Wilburn - born about 1817 maybe in VA or TN. Possibly married Prudence Penick (daughter of Edward Penick)from Alabama. Owned land near the Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield or Florence area.
G.W. and Prudence had several children - one being my GGG-Granddad Henry Wilburn. Henry was married to a woman named Julia Stout - daughter of Delano Stout. Henry had 3 children - Molly, William and George Washington. This leads me to think "G.W." may stand for "George Washington", but not 100% sure.
Would appreciate any info someone might have about the Wilburn family. There may be a name spelling change for Wilburn - but not sure where to start without info about G.W. Wilburn. Thanks
