Leonard Sims, Sr. and Pleasant May

I am looking for information on Leonard Sims, Sr. shown on 1870 Census of Fayette County (Vernon, AL) as living with Pleasant May and was a "pauper". When did Leonard die and where was he buried? Also, where is Pleasant May buried and when did he die. Leonard was Malissa Moseley Powell Sims' father-in-law. Pleasant May was distantly related to Elnora May Sims, wife of Reuben Alexander Madison Sims, who was the grandson of Leonard Sims.
