Looking for any information on George Cobb (b. abt. 1818 in SC d. after 1870 in AL). He married Pernicia Caroline Speers (b. abt. 1827 in AL d. 4/16/1894 in AL). She is listed as Caroline in the 1860 Fayette County and Sanford County, AL censuses and as Pernicia in the 1880 Cullman County, AL census. I got her death date from the LDS site.
Geroge's parents were Wilson Cobb and Grace Greenwood Seaborn.
George and Caroline had the following known children:
William Cobb b. abt. 1845
Mary Cobb b. abt. 1847
John B. Cobb b. abt. 1850?
Nelvinia C. Cobb b. abt. 1852 (married Thomas Estes)
Thomas A. Cobb b. abt. 1856 (Married Martha Lester)
James R. Cobb b. 8/6/1860 d. 5/23/1926 (married #1 to Ann Eliza Smothers # 2 to Mattie Gelaton)
Srah J. Cobb b. abt. 1863
I am descended through son James.
