Amanda DAVIS m. Edward "Neddie" McCarty in
MS. Amanda DAVIS was from ALABAMA. I am
desirous of determining her parents and g-
parents and children and siblings if anyone
knows them.
Amanda was b. 1855 ALABAMA and d. 1933 Jasper
Co., MS.
Amanda and Edward were the parents of my
grandfather Hamilton Davis McCarty of Jones
Co., MS, who m. Annie Kathryn "Kate" McLaurin
of Jones Co., MS. Their daughter, Keppel
McCarty, is my mother who m. Albert Campbell
Alexander, Jr.,of Montrose, Jasper Co., MS.
It is believed that these Davis' lived in
Fayette Co., Alabama. Some of them later
moved to Yalobusha and Lafayette Co., MS, and perhaps my Mandy DAVIS is one of these DAVIS' who ended up in Jasper Co., MS. Any help that you can provide me will be appreciated. Thanks. Mac.
