My great granparents were married in fayette county c1830. His name was thomas jefferson morris and her name was Glorvina Lucretia Smith. She was the sister of William Russell Smith. I am looking for any information about the morris family. My grandfather's older brothers and sisters were born in Fayette Co. but he was born in Texas in 1846. Thomas Jefferson Morris died in Cherokee County TX c1853. My grandfather's name was Burr Wilson Morris. I noticed the name of a Burr Wilson store. Was Burr Wilson related to Thomas Jefferson Morris? Any info about my Morris or Smith family will be appreciated. Thanks, Jeanell Morris, Granbury, Texas.
