Although I do not know anything about the Johnson's, I have found Ashley and Celia Aldridge in the 1850 Census. They are located in Fayette County in the 15th Division - Household #423. The copy I have has a handwritten page number 170 and 171 on it (the household covers 2 pages). Ashley is spelled Ashly Adridge (or something like that) and Celia is spelled Sealy.

Also the Probate Records of Fayette County Alabama has the Estate of Isham Aldridge. In it, it states "Price M Johnson the husband of Nancy" (meaning Nancy Aldridge since it was listing the heirs of Isham Aldridge). The Probate Record is located in the Fayette County Probate Court Minutes Book 1, page 8. I have transcribed all the records that I could find of Isham's Estate and donated the file to the Fayette County Genweb project located at

Hope this helps.
