I have been told that my Samuel Moody McCraw served in the Civil War He lived in Fayette/Sanford Co., AL. He is said to have died of a old war wound in the 1870's. Is he listed and who and where do you contact for Alabama Confederate service records? I also had a William M. Owens that died 1863 in Fayette Co., AL. Is he listed?
Viola
