Would like to contact anyone working on Richard Griffin, b 1810, N. C., wife, Elizabeth, children. Alfred, b 1832, TN. Lucinda b 1834,AL, George, 1840,AL and James 1845 AL. Also, Benjamin Griffin, age 61 in 1850, b S. C. had wife, Margaret and 7 children. I would like to know if they are related to my gggrandfather, Alfred Griffin, b 1823, N. C. and lived in the Pickens co., AL. (adjoined Fayette.) Alfred named sons Richard and Benjamin And Richard had named a son Alfred. And, Alfred's only known brother, Robert Griffin, named his only son, George. So there is a lot of simularity in names here. Would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance. Melba
