I havent found the death or burial location for Susannah yet, but I think I have found some other information which may be helpful.

Alabama Death certificate index
Joseph M. Cochran
died 20 November 1940
in Etowah County, AL
Volume 51/certificate # 25099

Dekalb County,AL marriage records
Joseph M. Cochran to Susannah Copeland on January 30, 1890 (Book D, p.421)

also listed Joseph M. Cochran to Alabama Mooney on May 12, 1875 (book 1874-1881, p. 64) {don't know if this is same Joseph but never hurts to list)
also J.M. Cochran to Edith Adams on February 6, 1916 (Book H, p.457)
{again do not know if same as Joseph)
