Hi John,
Thanks for being helpful to all of us who have ancestors in the Etowah Co. area. I hope you can possibly help me.
I am looking for where my gggrandparents, Moses b.1812,d.1881 and Mary b.1804? d. 1880, Findley/Finley, are buried. Moses owned land in St. Clair Co.,(in the part that helped to form Etowah Co.) He was also a Baptist Minister that performed numerous marriages in Etowah and other NE Ala. counties. While you are looking up specific names in the different cemeteries would you keep an eye out for Moses and Mary?? I have ancestors buried at Harmony/Rainbow City, Mt.Pisgah/Tabor Rd., Greenwood/Keener and probably Duck Springs (not confirmed).
If you can help you can contact me at joyjack@candw.ky or jackfin@vsta.com for more information. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely
Jack Findley
