There was a John H. Walker 1840-1907 married
Mary K. Bedford 1846-1933. He was the son of Mary Walker. They on the mountain above Aurora just off of Lawson Gap Rd. John & Mary K. Walker moved to Gallant are buried in Conn Cemetery.

A book, titled "Trees and Branches" by Pauline Germany Vaughn. Had an account of John E. Walker says: b. 1819, his mother being Dollie Bedford Walker, married Catherine (Katie) Bedford a neice of his mother. Children: Nancy J.; Mary,; Adam Edgar; Thursie J.; Joe Sam; Jack; Willaim Robert; and Mattie.

John E. m. 28 July 1875, Mary Ellen Holliday
their children were: Katie; Zemma; R. Pinkney; Nowlin; James (Jim); Newton; and Preston.

I know that there are some errors in this book but maybe this will help you.
