Holmes and Lancaster families

Reuben (enell) Marshall Holmes and his wife Martha Jane Lancaster moved to Etowah Co Al with Martha's parents James and Nancy McLeod Lancaster. Reuben and Martha later moved to Blount Co. Did James and Nancy stay in Etowah?
Would love to hear from anyone else working on these families.
