I just received the following information:

"on the Vital Records Index for North
America-
STRICKLAND, William Marriage
Wife: Sallie ROSSEN
Marriage Date: 22 Dec 1884 Recorded in: Etowah, Alabama
Source: FHL Number 1035317 Dates: 1878-1885"

Could some one in Etowah look this up and see if William Wesley's parents are listed on the marriage certificate? I know it is a slim chance . . .but, please?
