The newspapers are archived on microfilm at the Gadsden Public Library. The database Alabama Deaths 1908-1974 are transcriptions of Alabama death certificates for that time period. It is only available online at www.familysearch.org

If you want a more accurate hard copy, you will have to order the death certificates through the Alabama Dept. of Health. They are also on microfilm at the Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL in the genealogy dept. of campus library.
