Granddaughter just told me that Marcella Lynch Fitts died 1898 in the Mill village (Alabama City) but was carried by train back to Cottondale, Tuscaloosa Co., AL for burial.
She stated that grandfather Marion McDonald (M. M.) Fitts died July 1910 of congestive heart failure. He was sitting on edge of bed putting on his shoes and died. He died in the Mill village (Alabama City) but was also carried by train to Cottondale, Tuscaloosa Co., AL for burial.

Marion & Marcella's daughter, Wilma Fitts Davis, stated that the graveyard was taken by the hiway expansion in the 1970s and no longer exist.
