I recently found a letter in the Gadsden Library, in Etowah County, AL....from Bobby Phillips....John S. Chapman, wife Mary Elizabeth Holsenback Chapman....Ashville, AL...plantation at Chapmans Crossroads...had 6 children...John buried in Cox's Cemetery in Ragland, AL.....please contact me I am researching the name Holsomback but it has been spelled holsenback as well.....
