Linda,
Thanks so much for your response.I did find some Valley Head material in Ft. Payne Lib. However, I got the idea that it was not all of the cemeteries. No small family cemeteries listed. I talked briefly with Tom Griece (sp)and he thought they were all covered. But, Tom seems to be more interested in census records.

I know they lived in Sulphur Springs and William Oliver was listed as a miner on one record. I assume there were some sulphur or coal mines in the area.

One news item in a Walker Co. GA newspaper said that he was to be buried on the old home place in Dade Co. GA. I don't think they ever lived in Dade Co., but he has an older son that is buried there. Henry Hale Oliver was buried in Sarah's Chapel.

My wife and I spent considerable time in Chattanooga this past summer and it does have a wealth of information. Also Dennis Wilson president of the Hamilton Co. Gene. Soc. was in the library and was a lot of help. I have also had lots of help from their web site www.hctgs.org.

I will check out somke of these leads as soon as I can.
Thanks loads for your reply and your time.

Ken
