This Freeman family came to DeKalb Co. in 1838 and had several children. I am looking for information on James Willoughby Freeman born 1849 and married Elizabeth Hill possibly in DeKalb Co. The Freeman's were buried in Freeman Cemetery near Collinsville. Who was buried in that cemetery? Elizabeth died in about 1880 by taking rat poison after moving to Lawrence Co. AL. After Elizabeth died, James married second Glen Dora Greenhill Leigh in Lawrence Co. AL.
