Durham marriages

A number of Durham brothers who lived in DeKalb County, Alabama, arrived there from South Carolina via Georgia. While searching in Forsyth County, GA, records recently for "my" David Monroe Durham's wife Louisa's maiden name, I found their marriage listed in Forsyth County as 21 Nov 1849. Her name was listed there as Loisa Josephine McIntire. Two of D.M.'s brothers' marriages were also listed: Osborn to Mary Loftan, 3 Feb 1848, and James M.C. to Josephine Dooly 11 Nov 1856. Vol. IV of "Who Was Who in DeKalb County" incorrectly says that General Osborn Durham and Mary Ann Loftin were married in 1844 in DeKalb County. I hope this helps other Durham researchers.
