David H. Campbell married Elizabeth Black, in somewhere around 1855. Elizabeth Black was the daughter of Purell T.T. Black. Both Elizabeth and Purell were born in GA but moved to DeKalb county sometime before 1855. Purell Black had a letter from a nephew named Thomas S. Black who lived in Oak Hill, Newton County, GA. Thomas had a brother named Henry and an uncle named Henry Downs He had some sisters but did not name them in his letter. Purell lived with his daugher Elizabeth in DeKalb co.after the civil war as her husband was killed.
