Ruhema Palestine Evatt Ashberry (November 9, 1851 - May 14, 1928) is buried in the Wesley's Chapel Community Cemetery on Sand Mountain near Ft. Payne,Dekalb County, Al. She was the daughter of Thompson Evatt. According to family sources Ruhema mother's maiden name was HOWELL. Another source has that she was Crissy Ann LONG before she married Thompson Evatt. I am seeking any information that might be available that would document whether she was a HOWELL or a LONG.
