Would like to exchange any information on the Shirleys of DeKalb and Cherokee Counties.

1. John Newton SHIRLEY was born on 6 Feb 1833 in Anderson Co., SC. He died on 9 Sep 1924 in DeKalb Co., AL. He was buried in New Harmony Baptist Ch. Cem., DeKalb Co., AL.

He was married to Elizabeth "Eliza" Jane MASTERS (daughter of Geo. Washington MASTERS and Sarah BURRIS) on 18 Sep 1860 in DeKalb Co., AL. Elizabeth "Eliza" Jane MASTERS was born on 30 Nov 1840 in Anderson, SC. She died on 18 Oct 1901. She was buried in New Harmony Baptist Ch. Cem., DeKalb Co., AL. John Newton SHIRLEY and Elizabeth "Eliza" Jane MASTERS had the following children:
