This is for Ms. Barbara, Ms. Shirley, Ms. Betty,& Rick Wallace. I seen the your post and I am interested in sharing info on the Wooten(an) family that runs out of South Carolina. The line of William J. Wooten looks to be one of these lines. Their lineage starts in the Warwick/York Co. Virginia around 1640'S with Richard Wooton that came over from England. His passage was paid for by Capt. Thomas Todd. My own lineage was in DeKalb co. in 1940"s where my Aunts married into Oliver & Shankles families, and I was born. IF you wish, contact me at wootan900@hotmail.com Have a good evening

Mel Wootan
