I'm looking for information on Eliza Jane Hartsell born 1850 Stanly Co. NC; died aboutr 1882 in Dekalb Alabama.
She married George Washington Painter born 1848 inDekalb Alabama, died about 1910 in Dekalb Alabama.
Eliza's parents were Jonathan Hartsell born 1826 in Stanly North Carolina and died 1863. He was in the confederate army. He married Mary Caroline ___???? born 1833 and died 1902 in Dekalb Alabama.
There are some Hartsell family members buried at the New Home Cemetery, but I have not found any information to link them to these. These people lived in that area of Dekalb County and there are some of the Painters who were kin to George who are buried there and in some cemeteries in the area.
