My Family info. shows Alexander Todd b. 1826 in TN,this came from 1860 census of Black River, Independence,AR.

The second son of Alexander was John L. Todd, b. 1864,AR.

The first son of John L. Todd was named, Robert Lee Todd, b. 1890, AR. It's very likely he was named in memory of his G-Grandfather or other Family.
The R.L.Todd, in the Dekalb Co. ALA. census could very well be my GG Grandfather.
