Great, Karen - would love to share information. Stephen R. and William Richardson Nicholson were brothers. William Richardson was younger being born June 10, 1800. Ira was born in between them. William R. married Margaret Jane Adair in Pendleton District, SC and they moved to Alabama. They had 15 children and their daughter Emily Nicholson was my great-great-grandmother. I am the 4th Emily in line from her (she named my great-grandmother Beulah, and my grandmother and mother were Emily after her.
I have mostly information about the Nicholsons from William Richardson Nicholson, but know a little about the ones past William and Stephen's parents. I guess that makes your husband and me distant cousins - 6th?
