Barbara Daughtry is listed on the 1850 Selma, Dallas County, Alabama, Census with her husband (T.) and their daughter, Barbara, and her family.
Barbara Daughtry was born circa 1800 in North Carolina. Neither she nor her husband are found on the 1860 Census, but on the 1870 Census she is listed as Barbara Daughtry (presumed a widow) with her daughter's children found in her care. Her grandchildren are Charles, Alfred, John, and Mary Plant. Their parents were George F. Plant and Barbara's daughter, M.A.E. Daughtry.
