Harry, what I have on Rachel Windham is from a distant cousin: Rachel Windham, born June 28, 1807, SC; Died March 11, 1878, Dale Co. AL. Her parents are given as John Windham, no birthdate or place given, died April 1, 1830, Dale Co. AL married on April 1, 1790 to Rachel Windham, born Nov. 22, 1764, Darlington District, SC; died July 15, 1858,near Newton, Dale Co. AL. I don't know if John's wife Rachel had the maiden name of Windham as well as marrying a Windham.
