So far Robert Farmer has only been found in the 1840 Barbour Co., AL Census. He's listed as being between 80 & 89 yrs. old. Abel Farmer has been found in the 1840, & 1850 Census. His wife & children appear in the 1860 Census without him, so he may have served in the Civil War and not made it back home. He appears to have been born in South Carolina, Circa 1801. Benjamin Farmer has been found in the 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870 Census. He also gives South Carolina as his birth state. There is also a Dale County, Alabama connection with this family. I am seeking contact with anyone researching or related to any of the family members of this Farmer family. I would love to be able to share some research with you, help you meet other distant relatives, and discuss the Farmer Y-DNA Project results surrounding this family and my line of Farmer's. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks, TJ Notify Administrator about this message?
