Looking for information about a Jake Ezell, b mid to late 1700's in NC, who was recorded as purchasing land in Dale Co abt 1851.

"Jake" could be a nickname for Wm Jacob or even Jacob (John) Wm. He is believed to be a brother to Josiah R and Parham Ezell who left NC and came to Dale Co with their father, Frederick-all listed in the 1850 census of Dale Co.
