I am related through Otis Thomas PARKER and Mattie Mae Hildreth the daughter of Ida Belle Marsh and Edward Homer HILDRETH the son of Julia Spikes Hamner and Robert Henry Jackson HILDRETH the son of Jemima Dowling and Benjamin HILDRETH the supposed son of Benj and Mary HILDRETH of Charleston, SC. Benj. HILDRETH of Charleston, SC was a sailmaker according to city directories.
Need supporting information on the Benjamin and _____ HILDRETH of Charleston, SC who had a son baptized at the Independent Congregational Circular Church on the 10 April 1803 in Charleston, SC. We need this link, because the baptism records indicate the middle name of Benjamin as Greswold which is the maiden name of a New York Elizabeth Greswold who married a New York Benjamin HILDRETH in NYC in the late 1700's.
Otis Thomas PARKER is the son of David Allen and Mary Elizabeth Bryant PARKER and the grandson of William Patterson and Martha J. Caldwell PARKER.
Looking for any information on Benjamin Hildreth and Jemima Dowling Hildreth. They are said to have been immigrants to Dale Co., Alabama in the 1830's. Benjamin and some of the Dowlings moved here as Methodist Circuit Riders. Benjamin Hildreth and son Robert Henry Jackson HILDRETH moved on to Coffee Co., Alabama I believe. Have some information this side of Benjamin Hildreth and Jemima Dowling but am looking for information on his parents and grandparents and possibly great grandparents. Any help is appreciated, no matter how small it may seem. Thank you.

Jemima Dowling is the daughter of John and Nancy Boutwell DOWLING of Darlington District, SC and the grandaughter of Robert and Sarah Guinn DOWLING.
