I'm trying to find out the maiden name of my GGgrandmother(Rebecca). I've heard it could be Godwin, Goodwin or Gooden. I suspect it is Godwin because Pierceby Godwin had land practically next door to my GGgrandfather. His name is Isaiah Stokes and his mother is Lydia Ann Dowling. I also have Bell's in my family. Do you have a Rebecca Godwin possably related to Pierceby of Dale Co.?
