Am interested in info on Caleb Cox, John Cox or Ira Cox all of whom were in Dale Co. census in 1850. They came from Clarke Co., AL around mid-1820's. Samuel Jeffers (later used Jeffus)was with them in 1840 Dale County census and moved to Arkansas by 1850. Jeffers married Caleb Cox's daughter Sally.
