Dillard's in Dale County

I am looking for the parents of Lige Edward Dillard from Dale County Alabama. He was born in 1874.
The story is that his father remarried and he left home at the age of 10 or 11 and moved to Texas with his Uncle William Tyre Dillard because he didn't like his step mother.
If anyone has any information on him please contact me.
