need info from this newspaper. Columbus Mills was on a business trip to Milton Fla. when he died in 1839 or 1840...family assumes he is buried there. He lived in Covington County at the time of his death leaving his pregnant wife Rebecca & baby daughter Melissa. It is said that Columbus never saw his son Henry Francis Jefferson Mills ( because Rebecca was pregnant with him at the time of Columbus's death). Need to get a copy of the obit....and any other info I can het on this man. Surely there is some info in Covington County somewhere about this man. Some people called him "Jeff"...so Jeff could have been his other name...or Jeffery, or Jefferson. I think he and Rebecca were married sometime in the 1830's. Thanks,Yvonne yvonne_31217@yahoo.com
