My Morgan line is from Coosa County. Most if not all of my direct ancestors left Coosa County after the Civil War, according to what I know at this time. Several of us are researching this line, one Morgan male having even done DNA. We now have several new leads to follow and should probably include the individuals you are seeking as well, since, obviously, there were still Morgans in the county according to the census records.

Do you have any information on where in Georgia your Morgans were born? Who their parents might be, etc???
